A brand new programmable optical slave to trigger your off-camera flash, using ALL modern digital cameras with fixed PRE-FLASH as the master flash. It can be used with many makes or model of slave flash, EXCLUDING Canon EX and EZ models.
Most optical slaves can be fooled into early triggering if your camera produces a "pre-flash", for white balance adjustment and other camera settings. In many cases, this "pre-flash" can be turned off, thereby avoiding the problem. However, with many cameras, the pre-flash cannot be inhibited.
This new programmable optical slave trigger offers a solution to this problem. It can be quickly programmed to ignore a specified number of pre-flashes, so will only trigger the remote flash when it receives the camera's main flash!
Well constructed from plastic and metal, it has a 360 degree rotating hot shoe for complete directional control of flash and sensor.
It has a female PC socket for connecting additional flashes with additional cords (NOT included, but available elsewhere in my shop) .
It has a hot shoe on top, with an insulated cold shoe fitting/standard 0.25 inch female thread on the bottom.
The slave is supplied with 2 GP Ultra 23AE 12V alcaline batteries pre-fitted. It accepts flash sync voltages up to 100V DC.
The operational range is up to 30m (100 ft), depending on the power of the master flash.
